The term, "The War on Drugs" was first coined by President Richard Milhous Nixon on June 17, 1971, but in actuality the war on drugs began in California in 1913. California had become the first state in the union to criminalize Marijuana, by making the preparation of hemp and its products illegal.

When a person thinks of farm subsidies, they think of a farmer sitting on his tractor with his hat in his hand, and a smile on his face as he wipes the sweat from his brow, knowing that whatever terrors Mother Nature might unleash that summer, he will at least be able to keep his head above water for another year... Well at least that was the warm and fuzzy, pink butterflies in the sky image I've always associated with farm subsidies, at least until I began to read up on the New Deal

The War on the Impoverished

This article will begin a lengthy series on the war against the poor and middle class of the United States.

On December 16, 1773 British colonists in Massachusetts, dressed as Indians, threw three shiploads of tea into Boston Harbor after colonial officials refused to return the taxed to to England, and sparked a revolution, which culminated with the defeat of the British army at Yorktown in October 1781. Thus began the great country that is now known as the United States of America.

Our American Children

We all love our children, and why wouldn't we? They are little versions of us after all. They're fun to hold, tickle, and wrestle around with, and as they grow older they are enjoyable to have conversations with, and teach our values to as we refine them in ourselves. There is nothing quite like seeing the shine in your child's eyes when you get them that one special gift they've been thinking about and dreaming of, for their birthday or Christmas, and getting that running tackle hug they give to show their appreciation for that special item.

Made In the USA

We the People, in order to form a more perfect union have allowed our politicians and our corporations to drive us into near public and private bankruptcy.This was done in a myriad of ways from high domestic tax rates and tax incentives to send our manufacturing overseas, to allowing banks
